  • Should you prefer to self-pack some items, we recommend that you use proper packing materials. We do not recommend used boxes because they may lack reinforcement, are often difficult to seal securely and odd sizes and shapes make loading difficult. We provide heavy-duty reinforced boxes. Do not pack heavy and fragile items together or use newspaper to wrap China, glass, lampshades, or clothing, it smudges. Label cartons with contents and assigned room. Be sure boxed items are well padded and fit snugly. Do not seal cartons with masking tape, we strongly recommend the use of heavy-duty packing tape.

Move day:

Keep all hardware from disassembled items together; preferably in boxes they were purchased in, if still available, and mark them. Drain gasoline or other fuels from all equipment.
